About SWFT Response

Snow Water Forecasting Technology and Response Inc. (SWFT Response) is an engineering and research company specializing in hydrologic forecasting and analysis, snow data to predict streamflow and the systems that support operational response and flood early warning.

We work with partners who need reliable methods, research and technology that fit real world constraints in forecasting, reservoir management and flood early warning.

Leadership

Dave Casson, P.Eng. Ph.D. Candidate, is the Director of SWFT Response. Dave combines cold regions water resource engineering with leading software and hydroinformatics approaches. His professional experience and research focuses on snowmelt driven hydrological forecasting and flood early warning.

Mission

Improve the transfer of research to operational hydrology, supporting informed and proactive responses to hydrological extremes.
